Coro Mr. and Mrs. Bird pins, patented design by Gene Verrecchio, March 18, 1941.  Mint condition.   Rhodium plated and enameled with lucite pink cabochon stones.  Mr. Bird has hat and cane or umbrella and measures 2" inches.   Mrs. Bird slightly smaller (of course) at 1 3/4" inches approx.  These book pieces are in Brunialti, "American Costume Jewelry" on pages 55-56.  tweet tweet!
