| I bought this J.J. pin for myself while in my "bird" phase
of collecting. I am a big fan of J.J. pins, and every so often
you come across one that is a surprise because it is made so differently
than their usual humor and plain pewter-like finishes.
Here is a stunning song bird whose face is as sweet as a song bird's voice!
The body is pave set light amethyst Austrian crystals and it has emerald
green rhinestone eyes. It sits on its perch, a beautifully detailed
gold-tone log, and its claws and tail are lightly enameled. The
swing log is attached to a gold-tone snake chain "rope" that hangs from a
bough enhanced with green enameled leaves and rhinestone berries.
How nice is this? My photo does not do justice to this fine J.J.
